  • core 2 duo will not be that useful until and unless you have the correct model

    E6300 is so so it has 1.8 ghz only

    E6400 is good but it is costly too

    so my advice is just wait for its price to reduce

  • Am waiting for upgrading my PC.. I think quad core will be available within  a few months.. Then why to go for core 2 Duo???

  • even i am thinking of upgrading my pc raghuram....r u sure that quad core is going to be released within a few months?...
    well if that is for sure then even i dont mind giving it a wait...

  • My friends said that quad core will be available in a few months.. Even when i checked at http://www.intel.com/quad-core/, it says that quad core is available..

  • With the release of Quuad-Core, Core 2 Duo's price will greatly reduce. I read it somewhere mentioning abuot 55% decrease in the price. I think then i can upgrade for sure to core 2 duo, or wait for more time and increase the budget to accommodate a quad Smile
