How To Get Rid of Renewal Notice RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I renewed my subscription several weeks ago. I have it on 3 computers. On the laptop that runs Vista - the renewal expired notice still shows in red. The icon on my task is also in red.  How do I get rid of the expired renewal notice? It was paid for several weeks ago.

It can normally take up to 24 hours to reflect the updated subscription status after renewal. However, some people have reported that they have experienced delays of days to weeks on one or more PCs in their subscription. You can try the following:

    • Check your PC date and time.
    • Check your subscription status by logging in with your subscription LiveID at http://billing.microsoft.com
    • Confirm that this is the same LiveID shown to be the Subscription ID in OneCare - Help/About…
    • Open OneCare and click "Check for Updates" to have OneCare check for updated credentials

If your subscription is correctly shown at the Billing site, but incorrect in OneCare and your PC date and time are correct, please contact support.
