Safe removal of USB connection to Motorola Moto E

Question

Greetings:
Looking for safe removal or "eject" of mass storage device from laptop running Win7. In this case it is a Moto E smartphone. Eject option does not appear in taskbar or device manager. Please help, thanks.

@op: Have you seen this?
If the drive does not appear in a safe removal widget (on the taskbar) then maybe it does not require safe removal at all, this can be if the phone appears to the host not as "mass storage" but as MTP device. Try asking in Android forums about the latter option.
