  • Hello iristransportation,

Thank you for visiting the Microsoft Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) program forum.  Your issue is related to Windows Product Activation.  In an attempt to assist I would like to provide some information which may or may not help.

    From the Desktop:

    1.

Click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and then Activate Windows.

Or, click the Windows Activation icon in the taskbar notification area next to the clock.

    2.

Click Yes, I want to telephone a customer service representative to activate Windows now.

    3.

Click Read the Windows Product Activation Privacy Statement, click Back, and then click Next.

    4.

Follow the steps in the “Activate Windows by phone” dialog box, and then click Next.

Note The number appears now and differs based on the location that you select.

    5.

When activation is completed and you receive the following message:

You have successfully activated your copy of Windows

    Then click OK.

Also you may reference the following site for various Telephone Activation Centers:

  • I believe you need to contact you Computer's manufacturer, because your computer is telling me different things here:

The OEM SLP key is from fujitsu siemens, and the BIOS is telling me its from Epson, and then, OEMBIOS.dat is tellign me gateway.

  •  It is a gateway, we have life time support, but they told us we had to contact MS regarding Activation & Product Key.

  • This has all ready been activated.

  • Have you recently sent your computer in for repairs, or replaced the mobo, or BIOS?

  •  Question: is it possible to de-register Windows XP, removing it from one computer, and then installing and validating it on another computer?
