How can I resolve major issues I'm having with Office?

Question

Hi,
I am having some major troubles that I'm hoping someone will have the solution to. I've read existing articles and forums and haven't yet found a solution.
I was running on Office 2003 until yesterday, when I installed Office 2007 professional. Soon after the installation, my computer started running very slowly and giving errors, including a blue screen that prevented boot up. I spoke with an IT friend who suggested that I do a system restore to a time before the Office 2007 installation, which I did. Though it seemed to work at first, within a few minutes I started getting more errors (Office 2003 now won't work, my computer isn't recognizing battery backup power, and I keep getting a dialog box saying that Windows installer is installing).
I tried to uninstall Office 2003, but get an error saying that the patch package could not be opened, and I don't know another way to uninstall the product so I can reinstall Office 2007.
I've run the MS diagnostic tool, but the resolve button was not available and I've pasted the results below.
Can you please help? I'm afraid my computer is going to crash and I don't want to restart it or shut it down since I keep getting a blue screen and am lucky to not have to be in safe mode right now.
Thanks,
Melyssa
