    I want to do MSTS certification on Framework 4. In Microsoft website to get MSTS certification in Framework 4 they list only one exam.  But they listed 2 exams in to same certification in 2 or 3.5.

    For example.

    MCTS: .NET Framework 3.5 ASP .NET Applications  Exam 70-536 and Exam 70-562

     

    MCTS: .NET Framework 4, Web Applications  Exam 70-515

     

     

    So question is, If I want to do MCTS: .NET Framework 4, Web Applications , how many exams do I need to give? One (exam-70-515) or …..?

    Indeed, the requirement for the "framework" exam was dropped for the 4.0 certifications. Now you only need one exam instead of two.

    Back at the time when the new certifications came out there was a lot of discussion where this change was citicized, but anyway currently the rules state that you only need one exam fot these MCTS certifications.
