safemode oneCare scan fails to remove bzub.gb.dll

Question

Working on a customer's PC and OneCare can't remove bzub.gb.dll. Please advise.
Many other anti-hacking tools will not install or remove it.

Did OneCare detect the threat? Did it get blocked and quarantined or is it returning despite OneCare claiming that it has been removed?
For help with removing a threat missed by OneCare, please contact support -

OC did claim to remove 2 files and stop one other. Rebooted and still infected. Ran safemode scan again. 2nd time only one file was detected. But, a different file was identified. Don't have the name of this detection.
Should I just format the drive and re-load all the software?Sunday, January 20, 2008 5:08 AM -
bzub.gb.dll is no longer detected and PC is still infected. Both safemode and normal OneCare scans are now detecting W97M/Kukudro.k with quarintene failed. An email with the attachment is identified.
Still can not install tools like HiJackThis or IE7 or other MS security updates. Please advise.Sunday, January 20, 2008 1:24 PM -
