  • Question

  • Hello

I am having an error come up when I try to bring up CRM Web site. When I enter in http://localhost:5555/myorgname it brings up the default blue screen for CRM and does not redirect me to my CRM site. An error comes up at the bottom left corner of IE and states

    Error on page

    Line: 194

    Char: 1

    Error: Object expected

    Code: 0

    URL: http://localhost:5555/myorgname

I am running CRM 4.0 Enterprise. This install was an upgrade from CRM 3.0 If someone could please help I would be greatly appreciated.

  • By default CRM4 installs the directories _imgs and _static with 'anonymous' authentication. Go into IIS manager and set these directories as integrated and take off anonymous, and you'll be ok. I had the same problem.

  • If there is anyone out there with some suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. I have added all links for CRM to the trusted zone on the CRM server and when I put in http://localhost:5555/myorgname/loader.aspx the CRM page comes up but images do not and links will not work.

    Thanks

  • Can you post the contents of the web.config file in the root of the CRM web site ? I've met cases where this is not updated, and I could imagine this giving the problems above

  • Not exactly sure what I should do? What do you mean by post the contents of the web.config file?

  • Sorry, what I meant was, could you copy the contents of the web.config file into a new post in this thread
