Thanks for taking time to read this. I'm currently pursuing MCITP : Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008
with the following papers :
Exam 70-640 (Windows Server 2008 Active Directory configuring)
Exam 70-642 (Windows Server 2008, Network Infrastructure configuring)
Exam 70-643 (Windows Server 2008, Application Platform configuring)
Exam 70-647 (Windows Server 2008, Enterprise Administrator);
and Exam 70-640 (Windows 7 configuring).
I have come to understand that Exam 70-643 and Exam 70-647 will be retired on January 31, 2014. Could somebody please clarify the following queries for me?
- Since the above mentioned papers are being retired, does this imply that the MCITP certification which I intend to acquire will be invalid/no longer recognized?
- Are there any alternate papers I can write in order to keep the MCITP certification for Enterprise Administrators?
- Which exam(s)/paper(s) should I write in order to upgrade MCITP to another certification of equal or higher importance in the Windows server realm?
