Powershell Question RRS feed

  • Hello! I'm super new to this, but I found a post in the past about someone trying to remove a registry key for Mcafee. When I run the script Test-Path 'HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Network Associates\ePolicy Orchestrator\Agent\AgentGUID' I get a false response, but I know that the key is there I can see it but am unable to delete it. What do I do to remove this key, it wont let me just go in and delete it?

  • First --- "PowerShell Question" is not a question or a topic.  FOr the sake of all who use this forum please change to a real topic or question.

AV keys are protected.  "AgentGUID is not a key it is  value.

For McAfee specific keys you should start by asking in a McAfee forum.
