Question

There is no indication when I open the System and Security section that this is a valid copy of Windows and there is no listing of the Windows key. I have 4 other computers running Windows 7 and all have been offered the upgrade to Win 10 except this one Here is he report from the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Tool:

The installation is counterfeit - and is for the full Windows 7 Ultimate, rather than the N edition.
You need to reformat and reinstall using genuine media and Key

Noel,
Thank you for your quick reply. Rather than reformat and reinstall, could I just substitute a valid Ultimate N key? If so how is this done, as I tried to use SLUI.exe 3 to add the new valid key but could not get access even when tried to run CMD as administrator. Obviously trying to avoid the reformat.
Thanks

You would have to use a valid Full Ultimate Key (not the N edition) as far as I know.
