Trouble with Remote Desktop with Mesh Beta

Hi,
After updating to the latest Mesh Beta, Remote Desktop stopped working. Connecting from a Vista (SP1) machine to a XP (SP2), which used to work before, now simply shows a black screen. The XP machine is now locked forever and I can't log in to it in anyway, even when I close everything on the Vista machine . The only way out is a physical reboot.
Connecting from XP to Vista also does not work. It says "Connecting...." forever (atleast a very long time) and never succeeds.
File/Folder sync seems to be working just fine. A colleague of mine is having "exactly" the same problem.

Hi Munish,
Often the black screen is caused by not being signed in to an administrator account on the machine you're connecting from. Does that apply in this case? If not, would you mind collecting your Live Mesh logs from both computers (host and client) and submitting a bug? Instructions for collecting logs and submitting a bug are in an Announcement at the top of the forums.

Thanks for your reply. I am an Administrator on both machines. The XP machine is behind a firewall but the previous mesh version worked just fine and nothing has changed in our firewall. As I said before a colleague of mine is having exactly the same issue with a different set of machines whereas everything was fine before. He is an administrator on both machines as well. So it may not be specific to my machine.
I will submit the logs later today when I can get to the other machine.

You can request access to the Live Mesh Connect site by sending your Live ID to lmprev@microsoft.com. Though, of course, you are also welcome to simply mail your logs to that address with a description of the problem, if you prefer.
