reposting from weblog

  I've taken down my old blog and started a new one...I would like to post from the saved blog weblog...when I do only the text uploads not the pictures..is there a way to up load the old post in full ..pictures and all? the old and new blogs are both word press ...I have uploaded new pictures by themselves and all works. any help would be great..thanks in advance
