Windows Mobile 6.5 email duration

  My Window Mobile 6.5 smartphone is disgarding email messages over a certain age. It appears to only be retaining emails that are 7 to 10 days old. Is there a setting that I can tweak that will prevent it from doing this, or at least extend the number of days that a message is retained?
