I get the following message when I try to create a back-up of xp. Also, my cd drive is "H" since PC was restored RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have tried to use  Live One care but that will only look for a cd in the "D" drive and  livecare only looks to the "D" drive letter for cds. I tried using flash drives and SD chips to save back up on. It works for much of the process but then stops before transferring the entire PC set-up restore. I get an error message stating that the media is not the correct type. Since it originally looked for the D: drive, I assume that it want's to save it to cds. That's fine but it cannot recognize my cd-drive because it's currently located at F: instead of D:.

In summary, I have 2 questions. Can you tell me how to re-assign letters to drives? 2) Can you tell me how to download the driver mentioned above? Thanks very much for any help/ Bill S
