    YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT ACADEMIC FIELD OF STUDY BUT I THINK THERE ARE OTHER REQUIREMENTS NEEDED APART FROM JUST STUDYING AN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY RELATED FIELD

    make your basics stronger, specially with any programming language, algorithms and data structures
    you should learn to make apps (so learn C# and/or JS and HTML), plus complete some tasks in MVA

    and keep yourself involved in other activities as well, we need a smart leader in you as well
