International Use of OneCare by An American Traveler Possible?

I have recently been transfered from California to the United Arab Emerites (Abu Dhabi and Dubai). I have been using OneCare for a year now and like it. However, it is not working here! I tried to remove and reinstall, used the "Cleaner" offered by OneCare. it will not open and load. If it does, I quickly get a notice of my Firewall not being on, even though it is. But usually, it just won't work.

Does this mean I have to remove it and get McAfee or Norton?

The fact that you are traveling in the UAE is not a problem for OneCare. The country issue is specific to installing and activating a "new" subscription. Any reinstalls do not check for the country and language.

Since OneCare is not opening or loading, there is a problem with OneCare on your PC not due to your location.
