TFS 2017.3/VSTS build retention policy configuration overwrite fails RRS feed

    Hi There,

    I have a use case where I have one development branch in TFS 2017.3, to which i have created 3 vNext build definitions with different retention policies as follows.

    1. Dev build is configured to keep 10days and 10successful builds.

    2. QA build is configured to keep 10days and 20 successful builds.

    3. Pre-Prod build is configured to keep 90days and 10 successful builds.

    But TFS is not cleaning up the builds and drop folder content after threshold days configured. 

    Now I would like to hear if the TFS will preserve the changes by considering maximum configuration (in my case case3) for a specific branch of code.

    Is there any work around to overcome this issue and allow builds to work as per there configuration even when mapped to same branch of code.
