Add button in Subgrid not showing after upgrade to 2016 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, We recently upgraded from CRM 2013 to CRM 2016.

On PhoneCall entity we have Subgrid showing other activities for Regarding - Inquiry.

+ Sign to add new activity is missing above the Subgrid.

Anyone else facing this? Should we raise MS ticket?

  • Hi,

You probably have a permissions issue where the appendto / append is not set correctly.

Also make sure your role has the create permission on the linked entity as well.

    regards,

    Don

  • Hi, Plz confirm the record is in active status. Bocz subgrid + sign not enable for inactive records.

Also check by creating new phone call record.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks

  • Thanks for reply.

    Record is active.

Scenario is like - During the Phone call, when they are discussing they want to create another activity as Task/Email to add notes and send it across.

  • Ok. If same scenario was working in ms crm 2013 then there may be possibility due to upgrade some features not support in ms crm 2016.

Plz check below link, if it doesnt help then raise the ticket.

  • Try first removing Sub-Grid from Details form. Publish All Customization. Load the form and ensure that Sub-Grid is not shown. Now add the Sub-Grid again and Publish All Customization.
