Posting in the answers.microsoft.com forums

    Question

  • Hi everyone,

I've got a problem registering a domain for use with Outlook for Domains (I can't use the domain because it contains an "inappropriate word". The domain is: hrstarbc.co.uk). The only support option for that product is the answers.microsoft.com forums --- but try as I might, I can't successfully post anything to those forums.

I've tried all kinds of things to get in touch with Microsoft about the issue, but everything leads to the response that the problem should be posted on answers.microsoft.com --- and that's no good because I'm having issues posting to it.

The problem I'm seeing with the forums is that every time I try to post, I get the message:

Sorry the request couldn't be completed. Please try again later.

Does anyone have an idea of what the best way to get help with this issue is? I suspect it's either an issue with the forums or something to do with my Microsoft Live ID.

    Thanks

    Tom

  • For issues with your Live ID, try making a request via this form.

Or, you can email fissues at microsoft dot com. They should be able to tell if the problem is with your Live ID account or the forums.
