    First, its nice to see Live Search warming up to Webmasters.  We've had some issues being indexed and crawled, so hopefully with us working together we can make Live Search and our listings better.

     

    I would like to add that the link operator data should be added to Webmaster Center.  This would save webmaster's time from typing in +linkdomain: to find the information.  In the future, it would be helpful to detail which incoming links are pointing to which pages.

     

    At this point most Webmaster's use Yahoo's siteexplorer to determine the number of backlinks they have.  Should Live aggressively pursue a detailed and thorough report of backlinks, I think Live Search will see an influx of traffic from Webmasters.

     

    I'm an active member at Digital Point forums.  A good number of people are asking about Live's Page Rank.  Is there some information about this somewhere, or is there anything that you can report to us here?

     

    Thanks again for adding Webmaster Center.  It is a positive step in the right direction.

    We understand that users loved this feature.  We are working on a feature for the webmaster center that will help users with backlinks.  I can't say that it will work like the Link tool,  but we have a tough job.  We want to provide you with data you need to succeed and yet we need to protect our search from spammers.   We are committed to giving you a feature that will resolve this.

    I think we will be doing a blog post or series of posts.  There is a lot to talk about here and I couldn't answer everyones questions about this in the forums.
