OneCare 1.6 Maintenance / Windows XP Pro Logon RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

This happens two times on two different PC’s. If the maintenance from onecare is active and you won’t to logon into Windows XP your profile is inaccessible for this moment. It looks like you get a new profile.

I solved the problem, if I stop the active maintenance and restart the computer, than i got my profile back.

    Has someone else this problem?

  • Yes, this has been reported before. Apparently, if you are not logged on when the tune-up runs, your profile may be locked as you describe. The solution (workaround) is to lock the PC instead of logging off.
