Hi, am I am running WinXP Pro (all updates installed) and .Net 2.0. with SyncToy 1.4.0.0
It seems, that when a backup fails or gets interrupted, SyncToy occasionally writes (or keeps) *.*_SyncToyBackup_* files to the storagemedia.
These files are named as <original_filename>.<original_file_extension>_SyncToyBackup_<some_kind_of_date_notation>
These files are not automatically deleted and I have manually tried to delete them, however I receive the following error message "Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk".
Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.
1. What triggers SyncToy to write these files ?
2. How can I safely remove these files ?
3. Can these files be automaticly removed by SyncToy ?
Thanks in advance.
Brett.
