Hello Nightowl,
Right now, your computer has a Volume Licensing edition of XP Pro installed (Line 10), and that installation was done with an invalid Volume Licensing Key (VLK) (Line 2). A VLK is classified as "invalid" if it was not authentically generated by Microsoft, but instead was generated by software counterfeiters using a pirating program known as a key generator (keygen).
Also, a note about Volume Licenses. As a rule, VL editions of XP should not be sold to individual consumers. Businesses, schools and gov'ts normally use VL editions for flexibility in installing many computers. Also, Volume Licenses for Windows XP are Upgrade licenses ONLY and cannot be used as the original or base license for a new computer.
This is why you were seeing the "software counterfeiting" messages on your computer, because the current installation of XP is an unauthorized installation.
More bad news: Your Office 2003 Pro installation is showing as Nongenuine (Office status=114 means nongenuine). It, too is a VL edition of Office 2003 Pro that was installed with a now-blocked Volume Licensing Key. This key was a legitimate key for use only by a specific major business organization. The key was leaked to the public via the internet and due to widespread piracy has been blocked by Microsoft. Please go back to where you purchased the installed copy of Office and let them know that it is a counterfeit copy and that you demand the genuine copy that you paid for, or a refund. In any case, please uninstall the nongenuine installation of Office 2003 as soon as possible. You may be qualified to participate in the Office Genuine Offer as described in the FAQ: http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/office/OGAKitInformation.aspx?displaylang=en
What's next? Look on the computer or in the materials that came with your computer or with your retail purchase of Windows to see if you have a Certificate of Authenticity (CoA). If you have one, tell us about the CoA. Tell us:1. What edition of Windows XP is it for, Home, Pro, or Media Center, or for another verison of Windows?
2. Does it read "OEM Software" or "OEM Product" in black lettering?
3. Or, does it have the computer manufacturer's name in black lettering? We would expect it to read "Smasung Electronics" or similar.
4. DO NOT post the Product Key that may be printed on the CoA.
5. Do the same for your Office discs and CoA.Not sure what to look for? Click here: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/howtotell/en/coa.mspx
Please post back to tell us how you are doing!
