So, whever I start up my computer, I get an error message saying "A problem occured when Windows tried to activate. Error Code 0x8007426"
I'm aware that the error code means that the SLSvc service has not been started and therefore should but, but whenever I try to, I get the error message "Error 0x80070005: Access Denied." I'm fairly certain that if I can get this service started again, everything'll be fine, but I unfortunatly don't know what caused this issue in the first place so I'm not able to undo the mistake. Any help into how to fix this would be greatly appreciated, because I haven't been able to find out anything myself.

Hi DValo,
If you haven't done so already, try the below steps to restart the Software Licensing Service.
If the below steps do not resolve your issue, please create a (no cost) support request at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52029 and they will provide additional help in starting the service. (Make sure to tell them what we have already had you try)
If you have acces to the Start button:
1) Click the Start button
2) Type: cmd in the Start Search field
3) At the top the Start window, you will see cmd.exe
4) Right Click cmd.exe and select Run as Administrator
5) Type: net start slsvc
If you do not have access to the Start button:
1) Click the option Access computer with reduced functionality
2) A Browser will open, type: %windir%\system32 into the address field
3) Find the file cmd.exe
4) Right Click on the cmd.exe and select Run as Administrator
5) Type: net start slsvc
Thank you,

Hello KevinHummer,
Would you create your own Forum thread, include a Diagnostic Report and a short description of the issue, what you have tried already and any error messages you received.
To generate a Diagnostic Report, download and run the Genuine Diagnostic tool at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012. Click the 'Contunue' button and when it is done collecting the information click the 'Copy" button and paste the report into the new forum thread.
Thank you,
Darin MS
