webcam stopping whilst on msn

hi guys,

I've been using webcam on windows live messenger for ages and ages. However, recently it randomly stops working when I am in the middle of conversations (approximately every 5 minutes or so.) Also msn randomly signs out too although I think I have this sorted now. It says I have excellent connectivity and connected status so what do you think I can do to stop my webcam from stopping? Its unbelievably annoying so I really hope that there is a solution
