CRM & SharePoint - Document Management - Enable server-based SharePoint integration INVALID HTTP RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello All,

    I'm very new to Microsoft Forums so please bear with me. I was asked to set up Document Integration between Microsoft CRM and Microsoft SharePoint (Official Team Website). While going through some of the configuration and set up Microsoft has so gracefully provided I hit a road block when trying to verify the SharePoint URL. More specifically this happens when I try to configure the "Enable server-based SharePoint integration".

    When I type in our team website URL (which is on the same O365 subscription as Microsoft CRM)

    http:// CompanyTitle.SharePoint.com, it verifies the HTTPS but also tries to verify the HTTP (http:// CompanyTitle.SharePoint.com). I looked into our Office 365 administrative settings and found that we only have one team website that starts with https. I am wondering why when I try to verify the SharePoint URL it automatically points to both http & https, even though we do not use a http, which will be redirected to https anyways. Is there a way around this? Am I missing a configuration setting on either CRM or SharePoint?

    Thank you in advanced for the help, I've been stuck on this problem for a few days and haven't found a viable solution yet.

    We are using SharePoint online and CRM online (2013).

    https:// CompanyTitle.SharePoint.com  -->  VALID

    http:// CompanyTitle.SharePoint.com  -->  INVALID

    Error: *You cannot enable serer-based SharePoint integration unless all of the SharePoint sites are valid for integration*
