The CRM ribbon bar is not visible when you click on the left nav from Outlook. It works in Web version. Below are the details.
Windows XP Pro 2002 with SP3 , 32 bit.
Had 4.0 outlook offline with Office 2007 installed on this machine.
Installed Outlook 2010
To Uninstall 4.0 followed these steps
Uninstall Microsoft SQL Server 2005
Uninstall Microsoft SQL Server Native Client
Uninstall Microsoft SQL Server Setup Support Files
Uninstall Microsoft SQL Server VSS Writer
Delete the following program folder from “C:\Program Files” directory path: Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Delete this program folder: Microsoft SQL Server
Delete the “MSCRM” folder from the Windows Login User’s “C:\Documents and Settings\[CRM login user]\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft” directory path
Delete the “MSCRM” folder from the Windows Login User’s “C:\Documents and Settings\[CRM login user]\Application Data\Microsoft\” directory path.
Installed Outlook Online Client.

Installed Rollup 6,7 and 8
Checked if the Add-in's were disabled. They were enabled.
Restarted the machine
Still the ribbon is not visible. Any idea what I should try now??
