I have a copy of MS Office professional 2003 and am getting told that it is not genuine despite purchase from a reputable retailer store. Please find below the diagnostic information. I should be grateful for a prompt resolution. Best regards.

Hello flamish,
Here is a snippet of your mgadiag report:

Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 - 114 Blocked VLK 2Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 - 100 Genuine
OGA Version: Registered, 2.0.48.0Signed By: Microsoft

Right now your computer has two installations of Office. There is a Genuine retail license for Office Home and Student 2007, and there is a nongenuine installation of Office Professional Edition 2003.
To correct this situation, follow these steps:
1. From the Add or Remove Programs applet of Control Panel, uninstall the nongenuine installation of Office Professional 2003.
2. Restart the computer twice.
3. Open an Office H&S 2007 program such as Word 2007.
4. You should not see any more nongenuine notices upon opening any office programs.
5. If you do continue to see nongenuine messages, there are remnants of the nongenuine Office installation that have to be cleaned up. Please post back to let us know if this is the case; if so, we'll provide more instructions so you can do the cleanup.
Note: If you are using Outlook for your email, contacts, calender, etc, please understand that Office H&S 2007 does not have Outlook, so uninstalling Office Professional 2003 will uninstall Outlook and your Outlook data will be "stranded."
To prevent data loss, before you uninstall Office Professsional 2003, please make arrangements to move/convert your Outlook data to other programs, such as Outlook 2007, or one of the Windows Live programs available for download here: http://download.live.com/
