TV Archive: Compressed copy creation not working RRS feed

    Trying to get compressed copy process to work. Have media center set to move all recordings to Home Server. Setup to create Zune copy.  Initially, had setup as a custom location. When that did not work, I switched to Public Video folder. No luck at all. Recordings are not copied to the Home Server, but no copy is created. Does Media center create a log to check. I scanned the event log with nothing obviouis showing.  Also verified that that Archive service is running and set to auto.

    I am using 64 bit build 7100 RC with 8 gig of ram. I have the RTM through Technet and plan on rebuilding this week.

    Has anyone got this to work.

    Follow-up: This morning,, I noticed that I have one recording in the public videos folder. With about 6 recordings in my recorded tv folder still in the media center. So this begs the question, When does the transcode happen? Most of the records occurred between 6pm -11pm last evening?
