app / pc freezes on crash ntdll.dll RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there,

I'm using Hyperlapse Pro ( latest ) on windows 8.1 and i'm having some crashes.

When i try to create a new project, the app crashes or the pc freezes. In the log i can find a message that the graphics card driver ( amdkmdap ) has crashed and has been restored.

The log below is about the crash. (sorry for the dutch. please ask if anything is unclear)

Does anyone have an idea about what might be the cause?

    Thank you

  • Thanks for posting the details.  Just to clarify: the crash occurs before any processing starts?  Or has the progress bar started moving?

  • There is a delay of a few seconds after selecting the file to import, but no status bar is shown. It's just the homescreen.

  • Hi there,

I found out that it is an AMD driver that causes the problem. the R7 260X has ben removed from the pc, including all drivers ( this has been tried with just the driver from AMD but didn't work ) but without the AMD Drivers and CCC, running on the onboard GPU, Hyperlapse seems to behave normally. (driver crashes when I get a Skype call have also disappeared)

Hope this helps you finding the origin of this problem.
