Microsoft Money - Investment Account Errors

  I am using Microsoft Money version 5 and have been using it daily for since 1997 and the previous version for a number of years.  I have just created a new separate account for another family member.  I am having problems when creating investment accounts.  There seems to be corruption and the system appears to be picking up share values from other companies and therefore giving incorrect totals.  I have never experienced this problem within my own MS Money File.  My data file was created using an earlier version than 5.  Is there a known bug within the version 5 software?  The normal savings accounts work correctly it is only the investment type accounts that have a problem.
