MSCRM 2013 : Encountered error during federation passive request. RRS feed

  • Dear All,

    Nedd your help to solve this issue.

    My senario:

    1 CRM 2013

    1 ADFS 2.0

    1 ADFS  Proxy

    1 SQL Server

    1 AD

    *I want to achieve claim based authentication (not IFD) with ADFS proxy.

    Internally Everything working fine but once I involve ADFS proxy for external user I am getting following error:

    Error:

    Encountered error during federation passive request.

    Exception details:

    Microsoft.IdentityServer.Protocols.Saml.NoAuthenticationContextException: MSIS7040: None of the requested authentication types are supported by the server.

    *ADFS server and Proxy server and all the server including AD time is same.

    *ADFS proxy service account having private key permission of ADFS cert (sts).
