I have also re activated it and had no problems, so why does this message appear and also why does it say at the bottom of the screen evaluation copy?
Any help gladly accepted.Tuesday, June 17, 2008 2:25 PM

Hello Ticker77
First off, it says Evaluation Copy on the bottom of your screen because you currently have the Release Candidate 1 of Service Pack 1, installed. (You can see this in the Diagnostic Report on line"Build lab: 6001.longhorn_rc1.071129-2315").
The Release Candidate 1 (RC1) for Service Pack 1 (SP1) expired about a month ago. You will need to uninstall RC1 and install the Full Release of SP1.
Steps to uninstall SP1 can be found here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/948537
While I suspect that your other issues stem from having RC1 installed after it has expired, if after you uninstall RC1, you still have problems, please return here, create a new thread with an updated Diagnostic Report.
Thank you,
Darin Smith
