HDView incompatible with Firefox 3.0 release RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Just upgraded to FF 3.0.  HDview no longer works, even though I re-installed it.
The FF menus don't work, and large parts of the screen turn black.

  • Same here. From the symptoms probably a Firefox bug, and not an issue with the plug-in. I mean the "paint it black" effect is from Firefox' rendering or a memory issue, as it sets in  shortly after the HD View rendering starts in the browser window. Here's waiting for FF 3.01 or later.

  • Could be a FF 3.0 problem.  On the other hand, I had an issue with FF 2.x where the solution was to use different HTML and XML code.

I'm running IE 8.0 and there are some issues with it also.  For example, I've got geodata in a google spreadsheet that displays fine on FF 3.0, but not on IE 8 (either new or legacy mode)

So I can display the placemarks in FF, but have to view the panos in IE.  And the FF extension "view in IE" doesn't seem to work with IE 8 (in fact, IE 8 is slow when you try to bring it up to go to some specific page rather than the home (or default) page.
