Problems with creating a new WorkFlow in OCS 2007 R2 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a OCS 2007 R2 Standard running which is currently integrated to Exchange 2007 SP2, all featues are working. To create a new workflow, started by  creating agents, group, queues. I used rgscot.exe to create  "contact object routing with all my sip address, line URI & ... finally restarted the services
My issue is that the when I launch & login to the " create new work Flow webpage" The page comes up with nothing listed as if there are no contact objects.

I searched for the problem and found a post suggesting  a known problem with windows 2008 and prescribing to  handle it by running "SetSPN -L <OCSFE host name>" and look for two registrations for http/<OCSFE host name>  and in case they are not listed , run
    SetSPN –A http/<OCSFE host name> <OCSFE host name>
    SetSPN –A http/<OCSFE FQDN> <OCSFE host name>

I did all this but it has not helped me with my problem and I am still stuck with creating my very first workflow. Any suggestions on how to handle my issue?

  • I enabled the IIS for the basic authentication, but that did not help.

However when I added the Administrator to the RTCUniversalServerAdmins & logged in , the problem went away and  now I am able to Create a work flow.

  • I had the same problem when automatic logon was enabled for the site
Can you make sure that you login with basic authentication and check again.

You may need to configure the IIS site to support only basic (and prefereable HTTPS)
