# Ideal Trend And Total Scope Increase

• ### Question

• Hi MS Admin,

May I have your help on 2 below questions about Ideal Trend and Total Scope Increase? Thank you so much for your support and have a nice day^^

1. Ideal Trend

You can refer to 2 pictures below. The slope of Ideal Trend is 20.9 (167.4-146.5). system generates automatically or based which factor to deliver this number? Because as I know it is a ideal work which team should complete each day, it is not a real work. Therefore, calculating it does not base on Remaining Hour. If this slope (20.9) based on Capacity per day, it is not correct because in my team Capacity per day = 19.93

2. Total Scope Increase

I understand that Total Scope Increase indicates work added / reduced against the first day of Sprint. However, I do not know the formula to calculate it because I can not count it manually. As you can see on my picture below, Total Scope Increase is negative, this makes me confuse that why it is negative

Best Regards,

Thoa
