    How do I update my HTC 8X phone to Windows 8.1?  I haven't seen any updates in ages.  I still don't have the option to stop the screen from rotating, which I have wanted since the day I bought it.

    You probably need to talk to your service provider if you are looking for the official update.

    Okay. Thanks for the reply!

    It's disappointing that updates are optional.  I don't see why that should be left up to a carrier.  It only opens up the possibility of people being left in the dark and frustrated with the product.
