Where to start on MS Cirtificate RRS feed

  • Hi, I'm aq computer tech and i want to get involve with Windows servers and other microsoft products and some one told me to get MSCE cirtificate but i dont know if it's still good or if there are something else to take from microsoft. so please if any one can help me about where to start and what cirtificate to take, that will be really helpfull.

  • Hi,

    MCSE is good but it will expire soon and you will have to upgrade it on Windows 2008 MCITP thats mean you will need to get 1 more Exam and you will be able to get MCITP so I will suggest you that

    If you are well enough clear with 2003 Server and its configurations than get MCSE and after that with one more exam you will get MCITP but if you are familiar with 2008 than dont get MCSE even go for MCITP Enterprise Admin Exam which will better for you in future.

    it is based on what you want to certify your self with. basically i would recommend to go with MCSA at least because there are still companies working with Windows 2003 and then use the upgrade path " 70-648 and 70-646" to gain your ITP in windows 2008 so you will have both
