i've Windows vista home basic,Office 2007 professional , both whit regular licence.Before the installation i deactivated AVG internet security 9 but the update didn't install.Thursday, May 27, 2010 2:58 PM

Please visit Genuine Microsoft Advantage and click on Validate Windows. After Windows validation has completed, click on Validate Office.

Hello manifi42,
If Carey's suggestions do not correct the issue, have a look in Services to see if the Task Scheduler service is set to start and run automatically.
We have found that if this service is not running the KB949810 update sometimes does not install properly.
If still no joy, please request further assistance with your Windows Update problem at the locations below:

Even though the update that is having a problem is an OGA update, getting it delivered and installed is supported by normal Windows Update support methods.
