Having a restore issue with an HP mini 1300cl (Fz978ua#aba).
Win XP. Current WHS backup. Virus (vundo). No CD/DVD.
Created restore USB thumb drive. Copied "Windows Home Server Drivers for Restore" folder to the thumb drive from the backup. (tried current andolder) Copied driver cat/sys files from hp website to root, windows\inf and Windows Home Server Drivers for Restore folders. Restore process goes as expected until it finds no NIC or Wireless devices. ok, then go find the drivers on the disk. Comes back, nope. no device. No driver. I cannot move forward as there is no nic driver. Cannot find server [SERVER] It is the marvel LAN driver (yk51x86) according to the HP website. Recognizes, but refuses to use the wireless broadcom (bcm43xx) connection. I have link light so physical is ok.
