OCS Client 2007 Status won't change RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a user that is stuck in 'Away' status and is unable to change it.  I have removed his SIP and re-installed the client but nothing resolved the problem.   I had the user try a different pc recently and still experiences the same problem.

Has anyone experienced this?  If so, how did you resolve it?

    Server: OCS 2007 Eprise
    Client version: OCS 2007 2.0.6362.0

    Thanks,

    Rich

  • Did you install the latest hotfix package?

  • I just had the user try with that hotfix and the problem still exists.  It almost seems like something with the database since the database holds the presence.

    Thanks for the suggestion though.

  • I would first try and upgrade your MOC client to the latest verion 2.0.6362.111 and see what happens. Also have the user try from CWA.

  • You could try to disable the user for OCS and Re-Enable him
But then he will loose Contact information

  • Is it really only one user? For me it started with one, then suddenly nobody could change the status anymore. I then restarted the frontend and everything was back to normal.
