Reports: "Save As...."? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I want to simply save a copy of a report under a new name, but keep the original report. So, for example, I might have "Transactions 2012" and want to create a report for "Transactions 2103" where the only difference between the two are the dates. Using a "Save as..." command seems the logical way to do this, but that option does not seem to exist. There is a Rename file, but presume this will just rename the existing file and not create a copy which I can then modify.

The alternative seems to be to create a brand new report and customise to match, but this must risk errors and is time consuming.

    Can anyone help? Many thanks!

  • Hi

    1. Create or amend your report until it does what you want.

    2. Select 'Add to favourites', giving it a meaningful (to you) name.

This is exactly the same as 'Save As'
