Gentlemen:
I come from the background of having posted some 6000+ messages over several years on a programmers' mutual help NNTP newsgroup/forum.
I only try to visit your forum once a year or so and when I do so, like most newcomers, I would like for (a) the structure of the forum, (b) how to do a limited search, (c) how to make a proper post to be more obvious.
Here is an example of the problem that I see: At the bottom of this form and many other forms there is a button labeled "Help us improve MSDN. Make a Suggestion". I clicked it and takes me off into the weeds of asking
me what I am looking for, etc.
And another problem: While I cannot know what this message will look like after it is posted, to me as I write it, a lot of the text is blue and with an underline that I cannot figure out how to change.
Yours, JohnH
PS: On trying to post, I got the error "Body text cannot contain images or links until we are able to verify your account." until I copied my message to Notepad and back.
