Share Calendar - Organizer gets dropped from CRM appointment RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

    User #1 (Organizer)
User #2 (invited to the appointment)
User #3 (assistant with full calendar access to user #1 and #2)

    Scenario:
User #1 creates appointment in Outlook and invites User #2. Then User #3 goes into User #2 Calendar and clicks "Set Regarding" to an Account and creates link in CRM

    Problem:
Appointment is created in Outlook with User #2 being the organizer and Owner and User #1 is completely dropped from the appointment.

Is this normal??? Has anyone seen this before?

  • Set Regarding is a lookup option that allows you to associate records to a specific CRM record.

    take also a look: https://community.dynamics.com/crm/b/dynamicscrmsupportblog/archive/2012/10/10/crm-email-tracking-part-1.aspx
