Retiring ... email address change?

  Hi,

  In the upper left, under the 'Ask a question' button, there's a Quick Access dropdown. You can get into My Settings from there. There's a 'Configure alerts' section where you can change the email address forum notifications are sent to.

  It might be good to change "Quick Access" to "My Accounts, etc."  That would be more intuitive.  Thanks.

  Personally, I've always thought that there should be a link to My Settings from the account profile page. That would at least be a bit more visible.

  Ah, you're looking to change the email address assigned to your forums profile?

  That's different. The best way to handle that is to send an email in to the forums team at fissues (at) microsoft [dot] com and they'll help you get that switched over.

  That's an email address, not a web address. It's slightly obfuscated to keep the address from being scraped by spambots.

  I've attempted to change to change my email adr with the forums team at fissues (at) microsoft [dot] com ... no response from them.

  Sometimes the forums team does take a while to respond. You can also try using the Site Feedback link at the very bottom of this page (assuming you're viewing this as a TechNet forum, not a MSDN forum).
