How can I get the notes field in CRM contacts to sync with Outlooks contact notes fields?Wednesday, October 21, 2009 3:48 PM

Hi,The URL below lists the mapping between fields in MS CRM and the Outlook record fields.Unfortunately you cannot create new mappings between additional fields or modify the existing mappings.Hassan.

In addition to what Hassan provided, if you want to sync information from CRM to Outlook then you need to train users to update one of the fields that currently syncs rather than adding the information to the Notes field in the CRM contact record.

We use a product called Scribe to accomplish this integration.

In addition to what has been said, you might be able to run a workflow off note creation to append the body to a field that is synced e.g. description. You may need this (http://crm4activities.codeplex.com/) for the concatenation. I haven't tried it but the elements are there for it to work.
