Windows XP - Service Pack 3 install errors in log files RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, This is my first time adding a thread to the forum, so please bear with me.  I just installed the service pack 3 on an HP  laptop and it seemed to install successfully.  In the svcpack.log and windowsupdate.log there are errors.  Where can I turn to for help in analyzing the errors in there logs?  For example:  RegQueryValueEx failed with error 0x2     Does Microsoft have a service where they review log files?

    Thanks
