Changing SQL Server2008 R2 Collation? RRS feed

    Hi

    We have SQL server 2008R2 with multiple instances, we need to change for one instance the collation to meet our GP dynamics language requirements to SQL_Latin1_General_CP1256_CI_AS. i have changed the current system location to Saudi Arabia as well as Current Language for Non-Unicode Language. And i m using the following command for installation (E:\SQL2008R2\setup.exe /q /ACTION=RebuildDatabase /INSTANCENAME=Dynamics_GP /SAPWD="p@ssw0rd" /SQLCollation=SQL_Latin1_General_CP1256_CI_AS SQLSYSADMINACCOUNTS="admin ID" )

    But the result in CMD is giving this error:

    Error result: -2068578304
    Result facility code: 1204
    Result error code: 0

    Please review the summary.txt log for further details

    when i look at the Summary file i found error of " the collation are not found"

     

    please help as we stack in our DB upgrading.
