I understand that Darin Smith MS is the guru here and would be grateful for an answer. I have recently bought two sealed copies of Windows 7 Ultimate 32/64bit off ebay. One copy has installed and authenticated but the other hasn't. I suspect that both copies are MSDN versions. Having done a MGADT check on the installed software I get the following data:
